D.P. Reynolds Corp. was contracted to stabilize a large slope failure on a residential property. The plan was to remove the slide debris and overburden, drill a series of tie backs and construct a sculptured shotcrete retaining wall with planting pockets.

This residential project had very limited access which allowed no cranes or track machines to access the project due to unavoidable existing conditions.

D.P. Reynolds Corporation came up with a solution. We re-worked our tie back rig to allow for the removal and re-installation of the rig every work day. This tie back rig process was required to maintain access to the surrounding properties. This method was a very tedious task, but due to proper planning, the project was completed on time and within budget.
